Took it to the Amazon rainforest in Brasil/Colombia.
Pros:
Good quality
Keeps the rain out
Protected my DSLR camera which i tucked inside during a sudden squall while in a dugout canoe on an inner tributary
Cons:
Too hot .. probably because of the inner layer.
Suggestion: Good for cooler climes, not for the tropics.

First jacket had a broken zipper, I returned it and received a second one promptly and my shipping $$$ refunded. Quality of jacket I would rate a 10 (excellent). It was a gift for my grandson who is in college and walks 20 minutes to classes. He loves it, not only is it waterproof it serves as a great windbreaker. It's the second one that I bought. I bought one for my son about eight years ago and he still wears it.
